CO-FOUNDER

I have loved being creative in every capacity for as long as I can remember. When I was little I wanted to be a hair stylist, then in high school it was fashion merchandising and design. I’ve always been very self-motivated and the idea of starting a business was always exciting to me. I went to college for fashion merchandising and somehow fell into marketing… and I am so glad I did. During school I had 2 marketing internships that I absolutely loved. Then, somehow ended up taking a full time job where my role was in IT, but I was always asking to be a part of marketing & communications related projects. This role helped me to realize my passion for marketing because I never truly felt fulfilled — I wasn’t doing the type of work that lit me up or got me excited to wake up in the morning. Being able to use my skills and love for marketing everyday to help our clients thrive online is a dream come true!

CO-FOUNDER

Throughout college studying business and marketing, I thought I wanted to be a lawyer. Now if the bio above doesn’t scream lawyer to you, I don’t know what will. (Just kidding!) It obviously doesn’t. I think society told me that I needed to be a doctor or lawyer to be successful so I went with it. After interning at Raleigh Founded (coworking + office space for entrepreneurs) and Walt Disney World, I quickly learned that there’s a million doors to go into whatever I wanted to and do something I was truly passionate about. That led me to WeWork. Where I continued the journey working in a creative office space environment FULL of entrepreneurs and the most inspiring coworkers, friends, and members. After working there for over a year while working on Thrive CO as a side hustle, I took the leap of faith to make it my full time gig and it has been the greatest adventure yet. I absolutely love what we do and who we do it for (badass women, like you!)

SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT MANAGER

Before joining Thrive CO, I worked professionally in childcare for 5+ years as a preschool teacher and nanny. I’d always loved working with children because of the connections and impact I was able to make. I’ve made the cutest little besties along the way and though it’s a crazy field of work, it’s the most rewarding and fun thing! Though that was a passion, I also love being creative. Since I was a kid I have always been into graphic design and photo-videography. My knack for digital design and love of connection made social media a natural outlet for my creativity. I’ve helped create content for my friends small businesses, my own pages, and now for Thrive clients. In my free time I love being outdoors (when it’s not freezing) and I’m always up for an adventure! I also enjoy having game nights, binge-watching random docu-series, and exploring new restaurants (bonus points if it’s a sushi or taco place!)
